Dress Up Games and Springtime
In the spring, hemlines rise, hair gets more flowing and shoes start to open up again. The spring months are excellent for many things, but the fashion of the spring and summer time really start to shine. This year, your dress up games are going to be especially fun to enjoy. The dresses this year are getting softer and even shorter, which is fun – no more maxi dresses for dress up games.
To be stylish this year, you’ll need to shed the short shorts and tight skirts. Instead look for loose styles and comfortable fits. Longer shorts, shorter skirts and plenty of fabric make clothing just as comfortable as it is stylish. After all, isn’t that the best way to prepare for the warming of the weather and the fun outside activities that are bound to come along with that? Perhaps this year you’ll find the sort of classic dresses that make all dress up games fun and truly classic for years to come.

Dress Up Games and Hand-Me-Downs
If you have an older sister, you already know the value of hand-me downs. Of course, you may not be thrilled to have to wear your sister’s old clothing, but there is definitely some value in pulling on clothing that might be just what you’re looking for in terms of new something that is basically free. Of course, if you don’t have an older sister you might not be able to benefit quite as much from hand-me-downs, but you can still play plenty of dress up games if you seek out your own new old clothing.
Ask your friends if they have cleaned out their closets lately. Then clean out your own closet. Bring everyone together with the rejects from closets and toss them onto the floor or a bed. Start sorting through the items to find anything that might be fun to use in your own dress up games. You never know when someone’s old jeans might be exactly what you need to make your new cut-off shorts. And that dress that you only wore once might be perfect for a friend’s summer date.

Dress Up Games and Unconventional Figures

There are few girls out there who have the same figure as a mannequin. Granted there seem to be plenty of them, but for every girl who seems to be the perfect size four, there are many more who fit into clothing in a very different way. If you’re one of the girls who loves dress up games but has an figure not found on a mannequin, don’t worry – there are dress up games for you, too.
Never worry about the size on the label. Different companies and manufacturers have a hard time being consistent about measurements. Start a shopping trip by trying on clothing in a few different sizes to see what fits the best. Clothing fits when it skims the body and doesn’t pull or dig in. If you have to suck into fasten the pants or the buttons are pulling, your clothing is too small.
The trick for most girls is to fit the biggest part of your body. Fit your tummy or your chest first and then take the clothing to an inexpensive tailor in your area. Have the clothing cut down to fit the rest of you and you’ll be able to wear your clothing comfortable and with more style than the girls who don’t have their clothes made custom for them.

My Favorite Spring Dress Up Games

Spring brings with it the joy of warm weather, blooming flowers and a bit of romance. All of this happy-happy joy-joy can also make for some fun online dress up games. So throw open your window to let in some of that fresh air and natural sunlight and get busy with some of my favorite dress up games.
Mermaid Dress Up Games – I love the mermaids. Nothing says spring and summer like a swimsuit and nothing says swimming like a mermaid. I like the games that allow you to design an entire mermaid from her hair to her tail and everything in between.
Couple Dress Up Games – Couples are very typical of this time of the year, and online you can create your own couples. Make a couple look like you and your special guy or mess with your friends by pairing them up with their “secret” crushes through your games.
Celebrity Dress Up Games – The celebrities out there come out of the woodwork in the summer. It must be the summer movies, but this is a great time to play celebrity dress up games.

Easy Ways to Play Dress Up Games

Love dress up games? You’re not alone. Millions of girls around the world play dress up games every day and the easiest ways to play dress up games are online.
Find a gaming website that specializes in girl games such as dress up games. There are thousands of games out there in any number of categories. All you have to do is find a new one that you like every time you feel like playing. This should be easy enough.
The dress up games websites are varied. There are dress up games where you dress up fantasy characters such as mermaids and vampires, and there are games where you are dressing up goth characters and movies stars. It’s easy to get overwhelmed on a big dress up games site simply because there is so much there to do.
Try various games to see which ones you like. You might find that you have the most fun when you’re able to be totally creative and put every detail of the various outfits together. But if you’re not a person for complete details, you might also like the bigger dress up games that allow you to pull outfits together more quickly and easily.

Dress Up Games for Girls

There are so many dress up games available, it’s hard to narrow down the best ones, but any of the dress up games should be appealing. Here are a few of my favorite dress up games for girls.
Model Dress Up Games – Sometimes you’ll find games that are modeled after America’s Next Top Model or just models that could be on the show or something similar. Dressing up models is what fashion designers live for.
Barbie Dress Up Games – You can’t go wrong when you dress up a fashion icon. From tiny heels to miniskirts, Barbie has a huge collection of wardrobe options online.
Celebrity Dress Up Games – I’ve always liked celebrities, so a celebrity dress up game is exactly right for me. From major celebs to the more minor ones, I especially enjoy the games that give me ideas for the red carpet.
Fairy Dress Up Games – I’m partial to fantasy, and my dress up games are no exception. I’d rather play a fairy or elf dress up game than just about any other type if I’m in the fantasy type of mood. From elves to pixies, there are plenty of fantasy characters to go around.

Dress Up Games: Dress Like a Super Star

The best kind of dress up game is the one that lasts the longest. The dress up game that helps you discover who you want to be and what style you want to have going forward. And the easiest way to describe your new style is that of a super star.
And just how does a superstar dress? That depends. There are some superstars who wear designer suits every day along with fabulous accessories. There are others who wear urban trendy gear, mostly athletic along with brand name athletic shoes. Still others opt for high fashion with boots, skirts, dresses and trousers in the hottest styles.
For you to dress like a super star, you need to find the look that you love best. You might look great in a suit, but that’s not the best way to dress every day for high school. You might love the way a track suit feels, but you can’t wear it to the office. Find the balance between what’s appropriate and what makes you feel great. Then you simply build a wardrobe over time using that style as a guideline.
Once you have your look and start building a full wardrobe, you’ll look and feel fabulous.

Top Dress Up Games

If you’re always looking for new dress up games to play, it’s likely you’ve already discovered how much fun the top dress up games can be. But if you’re still searching for what’ hot in dress up games, there are always a few good games you can count on:
Celebrity Dress Up Games
If you love dress up games, it’s likely you also love celebrities. Playing dress up games with celebrities as your base is twice as much fun as the standard variety. For one, you get to see all of your favorite fashions for that particular individual. For two, you get to pick and choose what she wears and when.
Rock and Roll Dress Up Games
Nobody has wilder clothing than rock stars. Many have even opened their own clothing lines to let others in on their rock style secrets. Playing with rock and roll dress up games online lets you see the stars you listen to while playing around with punk or rockabilly style.
Fantasy Dress Up Games
You’ve likely played dress up games where you get to put clothes on a doll that could be you. But have you had the chance to stretch your imagination enough to play fantasy dress up games? You can dress up mermaids, fairies and pixies just as easily as you can Barbie and Bratz dolls.

Gymnast Dress Up Games

The Olympics are almost over, but the games can go on forever if you play gymnast dress up games. Of course there aren’t many online dress up games designed with the Olympic athletes, but that’s an easy hurdle to overcome. You only need pictures of the girls (or boys, if you prefer) and a basic ability to draw.
Print out a picture of your favorite gymnast, or cut out one from a magazine. Then use a sheet of white typing paper or real tracing paper on top of the cut out. You can trace outfits on the white paper that you can cut out for your gymnast to wear. Since so many pictures of the gymnasts are in leotards, it makes it easy to design new clothing options that can be worn right on top of the original one.
When you start creating outfits, you’ll want to show all the warm-ups and leotards the girls wore during the competition. You’ll also want to pull together some clothes for when the girls sit through other competitions that their friends and colleagues are competing in. Finally, the night-life in the Olympic village is lively and fun, so you’ll want to draw your gymnast some evening looks that she can wear when she’s out celebrating that silver medal.

Dress Up Rock Stars

You’ve dress up models and you’ve dressed up dolls. You’ve probably had a chance to dress up celebrities, but have you ever dressed up rock stars? Those with any knowledge of the fashion world know that celebrities might have a bit to do with style and setting fashion trends, but the real fashion motivators are rock stars and other song artists.
Don’t believe me? Think about Madonna back in the eighties and nineties. Nobody dressed like a school girl after Brittany arrived on the scene, right? And how about Gwen Stefani? Enough said.
When you’re ready to take on a serious fashion experience in your dress up games, skip over the basics and head straight to the most serious versions of the games yet – the rock star dress up games. You’ll be able to help your favorite singers get their look together, or create new outfits for the bands in your music world.
Pretty soon you might even find yourself starting to look a little less Fashion Model and a lot more Rock Star in your own wardrobe.

Dress Up Celebrities

It’s fun to dress up dolls, but it’s even more fun to dress up celebrities. We watch celebrities from afar thanks to entertainment television and fashion magazines, and for the most part, the fashion of the stars is super.
When you live your life in the spotlight, you must learn to look the part even when you’re just taking your dog for a walk or heading to the local grocery store for your daily detox energy drink, or whatever. I’m sure having fashion experts around on all those movies and television sets rubs off on celebrities as well. Regardless, they look great and are a lot of fun to dress up.
Celebrity dress up games are essentially the same as regular dress up games, but with a major exception. In a regular dress up game you might be working with a cute red haired base, but in the celebrity dress up game, you’re bedecking Nicole Kidman or Cameron Diaz for a major red carpet event.
Most celebrity dress up games aren’t simply throwing gowns onto celebrity bodies. The outfits are ones actually worn by the stars at major events or in movies. The dress up games are accompanied by contests and challenges to figure out which doll is what celebrity based on the dress alone. They can be a mite challenging, but maybe not for an expert like you!
