In the article, women were told that slits in their skirts should not come any higher than their fingertips when standing. The same goes for length of skirt. There is a big problem here! Ask any female CEO or higher up how long a skirt should be and you’ll get one answer – below the knees. Wearing a short skirt can be very fashionable, of course, but it’s not at all professional.
This is one dress up game you can win if you’re going to plan ahead. Think of the classy looks pulled off by powerful business people. That’s not to say, however, that long hair can’t get on your nerves sometimes. It requires styling, of course, and long hair is often very heavy hair. If your hair is heavy, it’s hard to pull it up into a high ponytail or even a twist since the hair actually will break and pull. It’s best to wear it down, but that gets hot and sticky at times. While there are plenty of new styles and fashion, it doesn't mean that you have to commit to any of them. If you don’t like the way skinny jeans fit, don’t buy them. You can be absolutely comfortable and still look adorable. Consider maxi dresses and skirts. Loose, comfortable and flattering for most of us, maxi dresses are easy to throw on around the house or out to the stores. Pull on some comfortable sandals and you’re good to good in the spring and summer. In the winter months, you can create a similar look with boots and long skirts – easy, attractive and comfortable dress up games.
