Dress Up Games and Super Heroes

Who doesn’t want to be a super hero? Dress up games are a great way to introduce the idea of the true superhero – the person who knows no enemies and is able to save others from bad choices. Perhaps if you were to teach your little sister or brother what playing dress up games is all about, you’d be able to play along with them, even if super heroes isn’t exactly what others your age are playing right now.

Super heroes are a thing of the past for most of us now. We don’t put a towel around our shoulders and run around the room making up stories about saving other people or avoiding the lava on the ground. But maybe we should. Find someone younger than you who needs to understand what the dress up games are really all about. Help them tie on that cape and strap on the shoes that are made to run faster than anything alive today. Then, power up the imagination to put those dress up games to truly good use.

Dress Up Games and Skincare

It’s funny, really, how much goes into dress up games that isn’t related to the clothing itself. As the warmer months come around, it’s suddenly more important to remember the more extensive grooming that happens in the spring and summer so that your clothing fits well, looks great and all of that skin that hasn’t been exposed for months is fresh and ready for viewing. Skincare is very much a part of dress up games, and if you spend time working on your skin, the dress up games you’re playing will be even lovelier.

Summer brings on shorts, tank-tops, sundresses and bathing suits. It’s likely that you kept your skin covered all summer long, and the first time you pull on a swimsuit you may feel like going into shock over all of the exposed body hair and dry skin patches. Get started immediately with your skin care for the dress up games. An appointment for waxing will help some of the hair or grab a razor and exfoliator and hop in the shower. Scrub at your feet, your elbows and your whole body to remove the dry skin and then moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. This summer your dress up games will be great.

Dress Up Games and Hand-Me-Downs

If you have an older sister, you already know the value of hand-me downs. Of course, you may not be thrilled to have to wear your sister’s old clothing, but there is definitely some value in pulling on clothing that might be just what you’re looking for in terms of new something that is basically free. Of course, if you don’t have an older sister you might not be able to benefit quite as much from hand-me-downs, but you can still play plenty of dress up games if you seek out your own new old clothing.

Ask your friends if they have cleaned out their closets lately. Then clean out your own closet. Bring everyone together with the rejects from closets and toss them onto the floor or a bed. Start sorting through the items to find anything that might be fun to use in your own dress up games. You never know when someone’s old jeans might be exactly what you need to make your new cut-off shorts. And that dress that you only wore once might be perfect for a friend’s summer date.

Dress Up Games for Little Girls

We always love a good dress up game, and the dress up games for girls are an excellent way to encourage creativity and inspiration when it comes to little sisters or daughters. Sitting down with your young one and encouraging her to play dress up games can pay off nicely as she gets older and realizes just how much there is to gain from the exciting world of fashion.

To encourage dress up games for little girls, you'll first need to establish a box of clothing that is suitable for the little girl to play with. Go through your closet and find the clothing that you no longer wear. Look especially for clothing that is fun and brightly colored. Little girls enjoy fun dresses and high heels much more than they enjoy anything beige and bland. Look for pretty things or interesting things, and don't stress too much about the rest- the little girl in your life will probably take care of it for you.

Dress Up Games and Spring

It’s spring – finally – and that means it’s time for some serious spring cleaning. To start your spring cleaning, why not play some of your favorite dress up games. The dress up games you’ve played in the past online are just the inspiration you need to pull things out of your closet and start trying them on bit by bit. Put new outfits together and see what sort of creative ideas you can manage in the fashion world. Soon you’ll have a beautiful look and a compact wardrobe as well since you can get rid of the extra stuff you don’t use or need anymore.

Then, once you’ve finished your spring cleaning with some dress up games, head over to the thrift stores to see what others have come up with in terms of spring cleaning – they may have discarded some clothing items that you realize you just can’t live without. And picking up some new styles for a dollar or two per item is not only fun, but rewarding as well – you can get a whole outfit for less than a Value Meal.

Dress Up Games and Spring Clean Out

Now that the spring months are upon us, it’s an excellent time to take advantage of the warm months and the inspired feelings of spring cleaning to purge all of the unnecessary items from your closet and drawers. Use a deep spring cleaning as the perfect excuse for some fun dress up games. Start with a giant heap of clothing in the center of your room. Pull everything you own out of drawers, out of the closet and out from under the bed. Include accessories like shoes and belts in this pile.

Then start sorting through the pile. Try on everything there to see what you like, what you only wish you like and what you never really liked. If you bought something and never wore it, you might give it another chance, but most likely it just needs to be placed into the thrift store or donation box. The same is true for shoes you bought, but never found a chance to wear.

Anything that doesn’t fit or is trashed or stained gets thrown out. You might discover some items you’ve forgotten about, and you can add those to your keep pile, but at the end of the day you should have a nice stack of donations and only clothing left that you actually love to wear.

Dress Up Games and Cameras

While dress up games are always fun and exciting, there is even more fun to be had if you’re playing along with your best friend. Grab a friend and bring along your phone or another camera so that you can record the awesome outfits you put together. Start in a big store that has lots to see and do. Of course, you’ll want to find a store that has plenty of clothing that you can all enjoy, so consider a department store where there is lots of variety.

Once you’re in the store grab your friend and start grabbing clothing items. The goal is to put together some great outfits. You can even have a contest if you’d like to see who can put what sort of clothing looks together the fastest. If you have a couple of friends together, you can have judging and plenty of different rounds as well. The two rules to the dress up games, however, are to put your clothing back when you’re done trying things on and to absolutely be sure to put the camera to use and get lots of pictures.
