Preparing For Swimsuit Dress Up Games

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost time for swimsuits, but spring break is right around the corner and with that comes hot tubs and even the beach. If you’re headed to warmer weather or at least a heated pool, it might be time to get serious about a new swim suit. If you haven’t already, be sure you prepare yourself fully before heading to the store to try suits on.

Prepare Your Skin
When you first pull on a swimsuit in the store, you’ll be exposed to more skin than you’re likely comfortable with after a long winter. Be sure to exfoliate, shave and use lotion to prepare your skin for the lights of a dressing room. You can’t do much about the color but you can at least be sure your skin looks healthy under all those layers.

Pick Clothing Properly
To try on swimsuits, you’ll need to leave on your underwear. So when you get dressed before heading to the store, be sure you put on a pair that is as scanty as possible and one that fits without creating extra lines or indentions. You want to see how the bathing suit bottoms fit without seeing panty lines underneath.

Be Realistic
If you haven’t been out of long pants in months, you might be a bit surprised at how bare skin look sin a dressing room mirror. Don’t go into the dressing room with false expectations. Be open minded and remember that everyone looks worse under florescent lights.
