Dress Up Games and Springtime
In the spring, hemlines rise, hair gets more flowing and shoes start to open up again. The spring months are excellent for many things, but the fashion of the spring and summer time really start to shine. This year, your dress up games are going to be especially fun to enjoy. The dresses this year are getting softer and even shorter, which is fun – no more maxi dresses for dress up games.
To be stylish this year, you’ll need to shed the short shorts and tight skirts. Instead look for loose styles and comfortable fits. Longer shorts, shorter skirts and plenty of fabric make clothing just as comfortable as it is stylish. After all, isn’t that the best way to prepare for the warming of the weather and the fun outside activities that are bound to come along with that? Perhaps this year you’ll find the sort of classic dresses that make all dress up games fun and truly classic for years to come.

Dress Up Games and Vacation
Going on vacation is one of the most exciting aspects of travel and you can’t travel without thinking seriously about the sort of dress up games you’ll be playing while you’re on vacation. Of course, the dress up games that you choose to play depend heavily on the sort of places you’ll be visiting on your trip. Some areas and destinations put more emphasis on fashion than others, but regardless of your destination, finding the right thing to wear is critical.
Before you start your vacation, do some research on the sorts of fashion that are considered appropriated and what is expected. For example, a lot of all-inclusive resorts include a fancy restaurant where you can dress to dine. The same is true on cruise ships. Another consideration are the cultural elements in the cities you’re seeing. In Italy, for example, you shouldn’t wear athletic shoes unless you’re actually exercising. Understanding the cultural elements of your destination makes dress up games on your vacation that much more enjoyable.

Dress Up Games and High Heels
If you're going to wear high heels, you should absolutely spend plenty of time practicing in them first. Dress up games with high heels are often hilarious to watch if you're watching someone who is trying to wear shoes they aren't comfortable in. The higher a heel and the narrower the heel, the more balance you'll need to have in order to simply walk across a room. That's not to mention that your dress up games can be foiled by the type of flooring as well.
When you're going to try wearing some super high heels, take them outside first and scuff up the soles on concrete. This will help the shoes not be slippery as you walk. Then, put on your shoes and just start walking. Break in the shoes by wearing them around the house as you go about your day. If you have to balance yourself while you walk, you're not ready to wear them out yet. Walk, walk and walk some more until you're comfortable taking normal steps without shuffling or feeling like you're teetering over at any moment. Practice is the key to using high heels in dress up games after all.

Dress Up Games and Tan Lines

There are many great things about summer, but tan lines aren’t really one of them. If you’re looking at some great summer evenings out with friends in flimsy tops, you want to absolutely look your best. But how can you look your best if your back is criss-crossed with all of the different swimsuit patterns you’ve worn this summer? If you’re facing unfortunate tan lines, maybe it’s time to take matters into your own hands – with maturity and wisdom, of course.
Tanning is bad, surely by now you know that, but it still happens. Sometimes it happens accidentally when you forget the sunscreen, but other times it happens quite on purpose when you lay in the sun baking for hours on end. If you’ve earned an unfortunate tan, you can enjoy dress up games that hide the lines or you can work to make the lines disappear if they show up in your favorite top. An easy way to hide the lines is to get the help of a friend and use a self-tanner. Paint the tanner onto the light spots on your skin and wait the necessary amount of time. Just be sure to buy the right tanner for your current skin tone.
